Privacy Policy
FantaLove ("we", "us") provides an AI companion experience on iOS. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed FantaLove around a simple principle: your conversations are intimate, and we treat them that way.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in (including Sign in with Apple), we receive an account identifier and, if you choose to share it, an email address.
- Conversations and creations. Messages you exchange with AI companions, characters you create, and related preferences. This content powers the memory features of the app.
- Purchase records. Subscription status and in-app purchase history, received from Apple. We never see your payment card details — payments are processed entirely by Apple.
- Usage and device data. App interactions, device type, and diagnostic data used to improve stability and the product experience.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the app: generating companion responses, maintaining conversation memory, and syncing your account across sessions.
- To process and honor your purchases and subscriptions.
- To keep the platform safe, including automated content safety systems.
- To improve the product through aggregate analytics.
AI-Generated Content
Conversations in FantaLove are with artificial intelligence, not real people. To generate responses, your messages are processed by AI model providers acting on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations. Your conversations are not used to train third-party foundation models.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run FantaLove (such as cloud hosting, AI model inference, and analytics providers), with Apple for purchase processing, and where required by law.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion takes effect immediately as account deactivation, followed by a 30-day grace period during which you can change your mind and restore your account. After the grace period:
- Your conversations, companion memories, and created content are permanently deleted.
- Purchase and transaction records are retained in de-identified form only, as required for tax and financial auditing.
- Backup copies roll out of our systems within 30 days.
Age Requirements
FantaLove is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the app. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights in the app or by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA).
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat the confidentiality of your conversations as a core product requirement, not an afterthought.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
